Company Profile on Cognos Website and Partner Solution Guide
Your company profile and Partnership type will be featured in the partner directory of the Cognos.com Website and in the Partner Solution Guide.
Cognos Technology Partner Logo
Partners will be given permission to use appropriate logo for their level of partnership. Use of the partner logo will be subject to the terms and conditions of the logo usage agreement.
Joint Success Stories
Cognos and the Partner will develop with partner joint success stories highlighting the use of Cognos products in conjunction with the partner solution.
Access to Cognos Marketing Programs
Cognos will have specific marketing programs available for partner participation throughout the year. These marketing programs may include such program elements as direct mail campaigns, email campaigns, seminars, and events. Additional fees may apply.
Cognos Product Collateral
Partners will have access to electronic versions of all Cognos product fact sheets through the Cognos PartnerNetwork.
Joint Branded Partner Fact Sheet
Cognos will provide Cognos-branded template for partners to use in the development of fact sheets, or solution fact sheets.
Advertising in Cognos Supportlink
Partners are entitled to advertise in Cognos Supportlink, a quarterly technical magazine published by the Global Customer Support Organization. Distributed to over 27,000 Cognos customers, it is a means available to partners to communicate their message to the Cognos Global customer base.
Access to Cognos Store
Partners can purchase Cognos branded promotional items from the Cognos online store. Access to the online store is available through Cognos PartnerNetwork.
Access to Cognos PartnerNetwork
Partners will be given access to a secure partner extranet called Cognos PartnerNetwork. Cognos PartnerNetwork is a personalized self-serve extranet where Partners can access information and manage their partnership.
Events
Sponsorship Opportunities at Cognos Events
Partners will be invited to sponsor Cognos events globally, such as Cognos User Conferences and Cognos User Days. Sponsorship and exhibit opportunities will give you exposure to a broad base of Cognos customers in NA, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
Invitation to Cognos Partner Summit
Partners are invited to attend Cognos Annual Partner Summit-an exclusive event for partners to hear first hand about product, technology, and business updates from Cognos. A partner awards ceremony at the event gives Cognos the opportunity to acknowledge the work and successes partners have achieved.
Cognos Participation at Partner Events
Cognos will participate through sponsorship or exhibit in the annual user conference of Gold Technology Partners.
Access to Exclusive Partner Webcasts
Cognos will provide regular Webcasts that update partners on current product, training, or marketing initiatives.
Opportunity to Participate in Joint Webcasts to Cognos Customers and Prospects
Cognos Gold Technology Partners will be invited to participate in a joint Webcasts to introduce their partnership and Cognos solution/practice group to Cognos customers and prospects.
Partner Webcasts to Cognos Field
Cognos Gold Technology Partners will have the opportunity to schedule a Webcast to the Cognos direct sales organization. The goal is to educate Cognos field teams on the partnership, the partner's expertise and client base, and how they may work together on joint opportunities. The Cognos Partner organization will facilitate the scheduling of these Webcasts.
Communication and PR
Cognos Press Release
Partners have the opportunity to promote the Cognos relationship through a partnership press release. Cognos will provide Silver Technology Partners with a quote for use in an approved press release. Cognos Gold Technology Partners will be featured in a joint partnership announcement issued jointly with Cognos.

Partners can subscribe to the Cognos Newsletter. Information about subscribing is available on Cognos PartnerNetwork.
Access to Partner Feedback Forum and Participation in Partner Focus Groups
As part of the annual Partner Summit Cognos will host Partner Focus Groups - round table discussions on partner issues and concerns. Cognos will also introduce an online partner feedback forum through Cognos PartnerNetwork.

Annual Meeting with Cognos Executive
An annual meeting with a Cognos executive is available to Gold Technology Partners to review partner objectives and achievements. Executive participation from the partner is required.
Technical Support
Access to Cognos Software for Training, Demonstration and Integration Purposes
Cognos grants partner a limited use license of Cognos software during the term of the partnership agreement for training and demonstration purposes. Partner must abide by the license description and use as defined in the Cognos Partner Agreement.
Access to Online Technical Support and Knowledge Base
Partners are given access to the Cognos knowledge base and online support case logging through the support section of the Cognos PartnerNetwork site.
Access to Cognos Software Upgrades and Patches
Partners are given access to Cognos software upgrades and patches through PartnerNetwork with a direct link to Cognos online support and download center.
Telesupport Access
Telesupport usage access is defined in the benefits table.
Subscription to Supportlink Magazine
As a partner you will receive a copy of this global support magazine, which is published quarterly. Supportlink magazine provides information about Cognos products and services, tips and techniques, and of course information about software and services provided by partners.
Training
Access to e-Learning
Our Technology Partners are given access to our customer computer-based training and recordings at no charge. This program benefit will enable our Partners to quickly grow their knowledge on our Cognos end-user products. These e-Learning products are for partner use only and are not to be distributed to Cognos customers.
Exclusive Partner Training Subscription
Partners may subscribe annually to receive an exclusive partner training pass. Each subscription entitles the partner to one training seat, for any open Cognos public course, at any location in North America, for up to one year. Worldwide subscriptions to the partner training pass will be available at a future date. For more information on availability, please contact cognospartners@us.ibm.com.
Discount on Product Training
Cognos Partner Training Solutions focus on providing you with the right amount of training to become experts in our products and solutions at economical rates. Partners will receive a discount of 25% off the list price for all Cognos training courses.
Access to Product/Solution Professional Certification
Technology Partners will be given access to the Certification Testing. Partners who fulfill the appropriate requirements will receive Cognos Professional and Solution level certification. Examination fees will apply.
