      Noetix partnered with Cognos to develop the Noetix Generator for Cognos BI, designed to accelerate Oracle E-Business Suite reporting initiatives.

    Area of Expertise
      Noetix Generator for Cognos BI leverages a customer’s implementation of NoetixViews for Oracle E-Business Suite to automatically generate content into Cognos Framework Manager and ReportNet, providing tighter integration between the Oracle E-Business Suite and Cognos 8 BI reporting tools in order to greatly simplify end-user reporting. Noetix Generator for Cognos BI is based on Noetix MetaBuilder technology. Noetix MetaBuilder crawls each unique configuration of Oracle Applications and automatically generates hundreds of business views and pre-built reports to answer the questions that are most important to the business. During installation, Noetix detects security, sets of books, operating units, flex fields and business rules – providing decision makers with a map of enterprise applications to quickly and accurately find business information. Noetix then protects these auto-generated business views and reports from data structure changes common to application upgrades.
