Company Overview
	Founded in 1984, Octet Consulting is an organization of 10 consultants who specialize in the design, development and implementation of datamarts and data warehouses. We focus on private and public sector organizations in California, Oregon, and Washington.
Relationship with Cognos
	Octet has been a Cognos partner for over 15 years. We began as a PowerHouse consulting partner, and in 1995 became a reseller and solution provider for the Cognos business intelligence (BI) products. We know many people throughout the Cognos organization, which allows us access to staff beyond the excellent Cognos Support team when a particularly difficult problem is encountered.
